A water maker is a system that converts the sea water into fresh water onboard. All boats have a fresh water tank that you need to re-fill during the week especially if you have a larger party onboard, the water will get used quickly. It takes a few hours to re-fill water tank and there are not many water stations on the Dalmatian islands (some islands like Lastovo used to get the fresh water by ferry!) so if this is important for you consider the boats with the water making system. With these the water supply is constant and you would not need to stop enroute to re-fill. Our exclusively managed vessels all have a water making system. Another very usual question is the AC and the use of it. With our exclusively managed vessels, we run the AC for 24/7 (free of charge). The temperatures are in the late 30s during the high season (July and Aug) and the AC is a must. Some of the boats have 4 to 6 hours of AC included in the charter rate, whilst this might suffice during the night, our advice is look for the vessels with a minimum of 12 hours especially if your charter is in July and August (please speak with us for advice). In addition, the AC is one of the most sensitive equipment onboard that is prone to breaking down hence it is of a crucial importance the AC is properly maintained and serviced. Unfortunately, not all owners would consider a thorough maintenance check or purchasing a high-quality AC system, again please speak for us for advice on the vessels with a quality AC system. 

The water toys such as Jet ski, water ski, kayaks etc are a very important element during your charter. The most annoying thing would be that you want to use the SUP but the underwater fin is broken, a minor thing but it will impact the way you use the SUP, another common issue is not enough of snorkeling gear for everybody in the party or the fins do not match your shoe size. Another minor detail, but if you like swimming your experience will be much better with the right gear!
