The Croatian government have introduced the law that bans the Turkish gulets to enter the Adriatic. The law now states that all Turkish gulet owners must set up a business in Croatia, obtain a license and appoint a local VAT representative if they want to move their gulets to the Adriatic. We do expect a number of Turkish gulets to attempt to enter the Adriatic regardless the change of this law. Please do ensure if you consider chartering a Turkish gulet that you ask for a copy of the license and Croatian VAT number.
