One of the largest superyacht manufacturers in the world, Lurssen has acquired the majority of stakes in the Opatija's hotel chain Liburnija. Opatija is one of the most prestigious destinations on the Adriatic with a tourism that dates back to early 19th century. We hope this is the begining of foreign investments in Croatia, the country so far has failed to attract serious investors due to a red tape, poor infrastructure, unreliable legal system and political instability.
