The multigenerational travel is on a rise. We see more and more enquiries for yachts that take larger groups. Here, we discuss one of the best 16 guests motor sailer available for charters in Croatia. She is called Luna (as a Moon). She is a classic motor sailer (the ones that use the engine to get from A to B). Onboard she has 8 cabins that are split across two decks. There are 4 doubles on the lower deck, 2 twin are on the main deck and 2 double are on the upper deck, the 2 double cabins on the upper deck are ideal for the grandparents who might want to avoid climbing the stairs, these two cabins are airier as well. All cabins are en-suite and fully serviced with the linen, towels, beach towels, a set of toiletries, a bath robe, a pair of slippers (2 for each cabin), a hairdryer, plugs for phones and music, reading lights, a mirror and a wardrobe. She has 3 decks, the main deck with a large dining table and a saloon, the upper deck with a Jacuzzi and a lounge and a fully shaded sundeck with the sundeck chairs. There is also a good selection of water toys to keep the young ones (and the old ones, why not to learn the water skiing in your 60s or 70s!) entertained. She is managed by 8 crew, a fabulous Captain who has been on the boats most of him life and knows the Adriatic inside out. He is aided by 5 more crew including a very talented chef. Catering is done onboard, the guests can choose from either a half board (breakfast, lunch or dinner) or a full board (all meals). There is also a reasonably priced bar onboard where you can enjoy the local wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. For a party of 16 for the high season you are looking roughly around 1,850 Euro per person plus extras (food, drinks and port fees). It comes roughly as a night in a good hotel but here you have the whole boat for yourself and you go wherever the heart takes you. Not a bad deal at all!
