Why Sail Dalmatia

Based in London, Sail Dalmatia is a small privately owned Croatia and Montenegro yacht charter specialist run by a Croatian team, who shares a great passion for yachts and the Adriatic's coastline. With its archipelago of 1,246 islands, the Adriatic not only offers the greatest sailing in Europe but also provides an intriguing mixture of unspoilt beauty, crystal clear water and unique blend of Mediterranean culture.

We pride ourselves on offering a highly tailored and personable approach to meeting our clients' needs. Our unrivalled knowledge of the Adriatic Coastline enables us to provide our clients with insider access to the very best of Adriatic - from the hidden bays to swim in to the best local restaurants.

We represent 67 vessels, all fully tried and tested by our team, ranging from 32ft Sun Odyssey to fully crewed 125ft classic Gulets, Schooners and Motor Yachts. Our major bases are Pula, Sibenik, Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor and Bar in Montenegro. 

Unfortunately both Croatia and Montenegro have in the past relied too much on its stunning Adriatic coastline and have done little to improve the quality of service, especially relative to price. The state of the boat charter business is still very poor and only a few boat owners and charter agencies are reliable and secure. For this reason, we only work with the yacht owners we personally know and who meet our standards. Together, we invest a lot of time and efforts to improve the quality of service. We are completely transparent with our prices, there are no hidden extras or additional mark ups.

Always in search of new ideas and places to see, we pride ourselves on being the first to know of a new boat, a new restaurant or a new bar on the Adriatic coastline.

Lastly, we fully support the principles of sustainable tourism in the Adriatic and aim to provide a highly authentic experience whilst being culturally sensitive and helping to conserve the environment. Sail Dalmatia has been an initiator of numerous sustainable projects and it continues to promote sustainable tourism development.
