Dora Vulic – Founder & Managing Director
A Croatian born national, Dora Vulic co- founded Sail Dalmatia in 2008. Having attended the University of Westminster, where she received an MA in Tourism Management, Dora worked across a wide number of luxury travel companies including Dalmatian Destinations and Business Travel Services.
Her passion for boats and Croatia ultimately led her from switching from a highly successful career to establishing her own boat charter company. When not masterminding the development of Sail Dalmatia, Dora works tirelessly on promoting sustainable tourism practices in Croatia. Dora is also a Lecturer for Hospitality and Tourism at Bloomsbury Business School in London.
Ivan Petej – Non executive director
Ivan joined Sail Dalmatia as a non executive director in January 2009 and advises on the strategic development of the business and oversees its continued expansion around the world. Ivan works in corporate finance and is currently head of portfolio construction risk and quantitative strategy for an investment fund. Ivan received a BA (1st Class Honors) and MPhys (1st Class Honors) in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, and a DPhil in Quantum Physics from Oxford. When not analysing the markets, Ivan enjoys frequent trips to Croatia, especially to the island of Brac where he spends his summer holidays.
